A Debt of Gratitude

Autism on US Routes 11 & 20 is a journey of hope. Sam’s message is that there is always a positive for every negative. It is hard to find but it is always there.

Our first leg of our journey, starting on March 9th, is along US Route 11 to New Orleans. As a photographer, Sam wants to showcase his work along with his message of accepting one’s differences. We will be stopping to meet folks on the Autism Spectrum and their families. I don’t know what little surprises he will find along the way but I am sure it will be a life changing event that will show Sam that he has the ability to shine light onto others with his message.

One of our biggest fundraisers for the upcoming trip is our can & bottle drive. Sam and I asked the community for help and the community responded. Sam has felt the support. Sam and I have enjoyed sharing his story while meeting our neighbors.

Sam and I both are grateful.
